Rise Simple Business Solutions — Website Project Agreement
1. Parties
This agreement is between Rise Simple Business Solutions ("Rise Simple") and the client ("Client") who has engaged Rise Simple for website design and development services.
2. Scope of Work
The scope of work is determined by the website package purchased (Starter, Business, or Advanced) and confirmed during the initial consultation. Any additional work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately.
3. Payment Terms
- A 50% deposit is required upfront before any work begins.
- The remaining 50% is due before the completed website is launched or handed over.
- All payments are in AUD and non-refundable once work has commenced.
- If the Client fails to pay the remaining 50% balance, the deposit is forfeited and Rise Simple reserves the right to withhold delivery of the completed website.
4. No Change of Mind Policy
All sales are final. Rise Simple does not offer refunds or cancellations due to a change of mind once the deposit has been paid and work has commenced. Clients are encouraged to review all package details and ask questions during the consultation before making payment.
5. Project Completion & Post-Delivery Responsibility
Once the final payment has been received and the completed website has been delivered or handed over to the Client, Rise Simple's responsibility for the project ceases entirely. This includes but is not limited to:
- Website maintenance, updates, or monitoring
- Hosting management or technical support
- Content updates or design changes
- Ongoing performance or security management
Should the Client require any further work, additions, or modifications to the website after project completion, these will be treated as a new engagement and fees will apply. Rise Simple is under no obligation to continue work on the project beyond what was originally agreed.
6. Timelines
- Starter Website: 7–10 business days
- Business Website: 2–3 weeks
- Advanced Website: 3–5 weeks
Timelines begin once the deposit is received and the completed Project Brief is submitted. Delays in content or feedback from the Client may extend timelines.
7. Client Responsibilities
- Complete the Website Project Brief within 48 hours of payment.
- Provide all content, images, logos, and materials required for the project.
- Provide timely feedback within 48 hours of each review request.
8. Revisions
- Each package includes up to 2 rounds of revisions.
- Additional revisions will be charged at an agreed hourly rate.
9. Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of final payment, the Client owns all rights to the completed website. Rise Simple retains the right to display the project in its portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. Confidentiality
Rise Simple will not share any Client information or materials with third parties without written consent.
11. Limitation of Liability
Rise Simple is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use of the completed website. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the project.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved through direct communication. If unresolved, disputes will be handled under the laws of Australia.
13. Agreement
By submitting the Website Project Brief and ticking the agreement checkbox, the Client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
